This hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay in Buenos Aires. The attention to detail is commendable, with basic amenities and clean rooms with individual beds or a double size bed. The location, while not in a touristy area, is conveniently near metro stations, allowing easy access to explore the city. Plus, the breakfast provided is a good start to the day, giving guests a satisfying meal before heading out to discover Buenos Aires.
No improvements needed.

Hotel good value for money, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I needed a ticket for the Copa America 2011 ,but would have struggled with the online process had there not been someone there who spoke perfect English to guide me through the application screens.

The breakfast was fantastic: fresh squeezed orange juice, medialunas, apples, tangerines, baguettes, ham, cheese, milk, assorted teas, drinkable yogurt, pastries, cookies, and coffee that actually tasted like coffee (surprisingly difficult to come by in Buenos Aires, to my surprise and chagrin). The rooms are clean and fine. The staff were friendly. There was a nice lounge and pool table. They gave a discount for paying in cash. Location is good but near a noisy street; Buenos Aires has noise pollution issues in general, though. Overall it was a good value given the American exchange rate of about 4 pesos to the dollar, but otherwise I might have found it to be overpriced.
The gym was a bit ratty, but the fact that it had a gym was a plus. They were a bit inflexible about giving me a double bed, even though I had indicated in my initial booking that I preferred one.

The hotel was centrally located, which made it easy for us to explore the city on foot. the room was clean, and the mattress was quite comfortable to sleep on.
The air cooler in the reception area was noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the shower was average, and the walls were thin, so we could hear noise from outside.

location. staff are very helpful.
there is no wireless internet in the rooms, only in the lobby and the basement. Also there could be more than two (2) hangers in the closets and things like soap and shampoo you need to ask them for more, when it would be easy for them to give you a little more. the good thing is that staff are really helpful so they would give you those things if you ask.

The location was very central and close to a lot of points of interest in the city. Breakfast was not gourmet-style but nevertheless adequate.
The elevator was so noisy that it appeared to be in the room. Very limited to no knowledge of English of the hotel staff. Extra 21% vat was charged if room was paid with credit card but it could be that this is standard to every hotel in buenos aires?

It´s in a good neighbourhood, close to Recoleta, easy to catch a bus and subway. The staff is nice, the room is good, including the toilet. Breakfast is ok.
The matress was awfull and there was too much noise from the street in the room (cars, people talking).

I liked the staff (very friendly and helpful) and the terrific cleaning staff. Our room was very clean and the King Bed very comfortable. Having a security safe was very useful. We could not hear much outside noise from the street. The air-con and tv were very satisfactory too.
1. Our door cards frequently did not work. 2. When I emailed directly to the office for Hotel Zentra (not Booked.net), to ask about adding a few extra days later in our holiday, we did not receive a reply at all.

The hotel had friendly staff who provided good WiFi and a decent breakfast. the room had everything needed, with limited but comfortable facilities. Location-wise, it was not in a tourist area, but strict door policies gave a feeling of safety. It's a modest hotel that can be a good choice for budget travelers looking for basic needs down the street.
Noise from fellow guests can quickly become a problem due to thin walls and other difficulties with the hotel as mentioned in reviews.

The staff were extremly accomodating and helpful, and despite my limited Spanish, all the staff spoke English, which helped enormously. They booked tours and airport transfers for me, so the stay was very easy. Room was pleasant, quiet, clean, well cared for and well maintained during my stay. Location excellent and really good price. Thanks

I had a serious problem with my Credit Cards while in Argentina, they were just not working to get cash and I learned from my bank later that it was because I haven't advise the bank that I would be overseas and in which countries. Anyway, I was desparate and in trouble with the tax driver since I didn't have enuf cash to pay him and when I arrived at Zentra the guy from the reception on that evening (Monday 7.11.11) was really nice and did his best to help me to solve the problem and keep me calm. I think I haven't thanked him enough for such big help and I really recommend Zentra, when everything was going wrong I had at least someone trying to help me and I really appreciated it. B.T.W,after long hours trying to solve the problem one of my credit cards worked, thank God.

Great location a few blocks from the subway and several key attractions within walking distance. Friendly staff who always greeted us with a smile. Affordable rates that allowed us to stretch our city break budget even further.
The rooms were small and a bit dated, with not much natural light coming in. We wished there were more amenities available and the Wi-Fi signal could have been stronger.

Location is very good. Price is fair.
Breakfast is very, very poor. No Internet in the rooms, only in the lobby. Also, they charge you 21% extra if you pay by credit card, if you made your reservation through Booked.net.

A magnificent Hotel at Downtown, Buenos Aires. Great location (near the obelisk and the shopping hot spots), excellent accomodations, delicious breakfast and a very nice and friendly staff. When I`ll return to Buenos Aires, i`ll return to this hotel for sure.
THere's nothing I didn't like. It was excellent.
